RESULT: August 2024 Food Tech board exam list of passers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Food Technology are expected to release results of August 2024 Food Technologist board exam on August 28, 2024 or in two (2) working days after the last day of examinations. The official list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.

PRC administered the Food Tech licensure exam (FTLE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao on August 22 and 23, 2024.

Food Technology is the newly regulated profession under Republic Act No. 110521, also known as “Philippine Food Technology Act”.

The members of the Board of Food Technology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Anthony C. Sales, Chairman; and Hon. Remedios V. Baclig, Member.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://ift.tt/VIZn63i and follow instructions for initial registration.

Date of Registration: TBA

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

COVERAGE OF EXAM

The two-day examination covered the following subjects: physical, chemical, biological and microbiological principles (25%); food laws and regulations and concepts of food science and technology, food safety, food analysis, food research and nutrition (25%); food processing, preservation and food engineering (25%); food quality assurance and sensory evaluation and other aspects of food manufacturing (25%).

RELEASE OF RESULTS

Based on PRC Resolution No. 1836 s. 2024, the target release of results for the recent Food tech board exam is on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 or after two (2) working days.

Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.

PRC bares 2025 schedule of SPLE for OFWs

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the schedule of Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) this 2025. LIST: PRC board exam schedule 2025

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday, November 28, the schedule of all board examinations for year 2025.
