MANILA, Philippines – The August 2024 Certified Plant Mechanics (CPM) board exam results, including the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are expected to be released online between August 22-26, 2024 or in 4-5 working days after the exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Mechanical Engineering conducted the CPM licensure exam (CPMLE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao on August 16, 17 and 18, 2024.
Note: PRC administered the CPMLE in Manila and Davao via computer-based exams.
The Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) was also held in the same date and test centers.

REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://ift.tt/iBJA523 and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
CPM board exam verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online. Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this can be available in few days after the exam.
EXAMINATION COVERAGE
Licensure examinations for CPM covered the following: elements of power plant machinery, shop machinery practice (Day 1) and elements of industrial plant machinery (Day 2).
RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1836 s. 2024, the target release of Certified Plant Mechanics board exam results is on Friday, August 23 or in five (5) working days after the exam.
But with the government's declaration of moving the observance of the Ninoy Aquino Day to August 23, it is possible that PRC will release results prior to the said date or on later time without prior notice.
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2024 Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination (CPMLE), results were released online in three (3) working days. A total of 65 out of 108 passed the exams.
In the August 2023 CPM board exams, PRC announced results in four (4) working days. A total of 104 out of 187 successfully hurdled the exams.
In the February 2023 CPM board exams, results were out in three (3) working days. The agency named 65 out of 90 who passed the exams.
In the August 2022 board exam, results were released in six (6) working days after the last day of examinations. PRC named 140 out of 174 who have passed the CPM board exams.
