RESULTS: August 2024 Food Tech board exam top 10 passers

MANILA, Philippines – The August 2024 Food Tech board exam top 10 or topnotchers together with other results - list of passers, top performing schools and performance of schools are expected to be released online on August 28, 2024 or in two (2) working days after the last day of examinations.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the Food Tech licensure exam (FTLE) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao on August 22 and 23, 2024.

PREVIOUS EXAMS

In the inaugural food tech board exam, University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman dominated the tests, occupying all top 10 spots. Dominic Panaligan clinched the highest place with an 87.25 percent rating. He was joined by Jose Gabriel Luna at second spot (86.75%), and Ingrid Puentespina at third place (86.5%).

ABOUT FOOD TECH BOARD EXAM

The field of Food Technology becomes the latest addition to the list of professions currently regulated by the PRC, with the signing of the Republic Act No. 110521, also known as “Philippine Food Technology Act” in June 2018 by former President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

Under the law, the newly created Board of Food Technology is tasked to promulgate, administer, and enforce rules and regulations as well as supervise and regulate the registration, licensure and practice of food technology in the country.

PRC bares 2025 schedule of SPLE for OFWs

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the schedule of Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) this 2025. PRC said SPLE will be conducted in the Middle East, Singapore and Taiwan on June 6, 7 and 8, 2025 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). LIST: PRC board exam schedule 2025

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday, November 28, the schedule of all board examinations for year 2025. The calendar includes schedule of opening of online processing, deadline for filing applications, practical examinations, professional upgrading examinations, Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) and target dates of release of exam results.
