MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Librarians are expected to release results of September 2024 Librarian board exam on September 11-16 or in 0-3 working days after the exam. The complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are available here as announced online.
PRC administered the Computer-based Librarian licensure exam (LLE) on September 10 and 11, 2024 in the cities of Manila, Davao, Legazpi, Lucena and Rosales.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
COVERAGE OF EXAMS
The two-day examinations covered the following subjects: library organization and management, reference, bibliography, and user services, indexing and abstracting, cataloging and classification, selection and acquisition and information technology.
RELEASE OF RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1836 s. 2024, the target release of Librarian board exam results is on Monday, September 16 or in three (3) working days after the exam.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
Note that results of computer-based licensure exams are normally being released immediately after the test. With this, we advise takers to monitor announcement of results on September 11, the last day of exam.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the September 2023 Librarian board exam, PRC released results in three (3) working days after the last day of exams. A total of 555 out of 886 successfully passed the exams.
In the September 2022 Librarian board exam, PRC also announced results in 3 working days. A total of 250 out of 634 passed the exams.
In the September 2021 Librarian board exam, results were out in just two (2) working days. A total of 113 out of 237 passed the exams.
