MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to announce on Thursday, December 5, 2024 the complete results of December 2024 Dental Technologist licensure exam (DTLE) - Practical and Written. View here the list of passers and performance of schools.
PRC administered the licensure exam on December 2, 2024 (Written) and December 3 and 4, 2024 (Practical) in Manila.
The members of the Board of Dentistry who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Merlin A. Go, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Rodolfo R. Drapete, Dr. Carlito D. Paragas and Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, Members.

The performance of schools in the December 2024 Dental Technologist Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The theoretical exam on December 2 covered the following subjects: basic medical and dental sciences, examinations on ethics and professionalism, removable prosthodontics and fixed prosthodontics.
The practical exam, meanwhile, covered the following: complete denture fabrication, removable partial denture, wire bending, fixed partial denture fabrication and metal free restoration.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the March 2024 Dental Technologist board exam, PRC announced results in four (4) working days. A total of 17 out of 24 successfully passed the exams.
In the December 2022 Dental Technologist board exam, PRC named 10 out of 16 who passed the tests. Results were announced in three (3) working days after the exams.
In the December 2019 Dental Technologist board exam, the agency named 6 out of 76 passed the exams. Results were released in just one (1) working day.
In the December 2018 exams, 15 out of 35 passed the DTLE. Results were released in two working days.
In the December 2017 exams, a total of 52 out of 63 passed the exams. Results were also out in 2 working days.
