MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases room assignments for the April 2025 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) Licensure Examination.
The first Electronics Engineering board exam this year will be conducted in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on April 2 and 3 (ECE) and April 4 (ECT).

Where to check or verify room assignments?
Check or verify your school/building assignments at the PRC official website (www.prc.gov.ph) or through the Notices/Announcements to be posted at the PRC premises two (2) to three (3) working days before the date of the examination.
In addition, PRC Board News will share on this page the updated room assignments once available online.
What time should examinees report to the testing centers?
Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 A.M. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted once the examination has already started unless there is a valid reason.
What to wear on examination day?
Examinees are required to wear the following attire every examination day:
Male examinees: white polo shirt or shirts with collar, tucked-in (without any seal, logo or mark); decent pants or slacks
Female examinees: White blouse or shirts with collar (without any seal, logo or mark); decent pants, slacks or skirts
What should examinees bring in the examination?
Bring the following on examination day:
a. Notice of Admission
b. Official Receipt
c. Two or more pencils
d. Ballpen with BLACK ink only
e. One (1) piece long brown envelope
f. One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
g. NON-PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS (Please refer to Commission Resolution No. 1809-2024 or the “Updated List of Non-Programmable Calculators Allowed to be used in theLicensure Examinations”)
Note: Only one (1) calculator shall be allowed inside the examination room. Calculators shall be inspected and has to be reset before the start of the examination.
What are the prohibited items inside the examination room?
The following items are strictly PROHIBITED inside the examination premises/rooms.
a. Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula.
b. Calculators which are programmable especially the CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus pursuant to Memorandum Circular 2018-01.
c. APPLE, SAMSUNG AND OTHER SMARTWATCHES, CELLULAR PHONES, EARPLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, BLUETOOTH, AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS/DEVICES WHICH MAY BE USED FOR COMMUNICATION PURPOSES
e. Bags of any kind (place your documents inside the transparent/plastic envelope)
f. Other examination aides not stated on this program.
Note: All personal belongings of the examinees shall be surrendered to the proctor and shall be placed in a secured space within the examination room.

When are the results of ECE board exam released?
Examination results typically are released at an average of three (3) working days after the last day of examination.
For the April 2025 ECE-ECT board exam, PRC aims to release results on April 11, 2024 (Friday) or in three (3) working days.
