MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology are set to release results of August 2025 Criminologist board exam or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) between August 22 – September 16, 2025, or within 14-30 working days from the last day of exams. The official list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools are available on this page as announced online.
PRC conducted the Criminology board exam on August 1, 2, and 3, 2025 (Friday to Sunday) in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan.
The members of the Board of Criminology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M. Corpuz, Members.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024 on 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for the Year 2025', the target release of Criminologist board exam results is on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, or within thirty (30) working days after the tests.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
We advise examinees to start monitoring for results on August 22, 2025, or 14 working days.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Visit the official website of PRC (https://ift.tt/lc2mIZO) and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
COVERAGE OF EXAMS
The three-day exam covered the following subjects: criminal law, jurisprudence and procedure, law enforcement administration, crime detection and investigation, forensic science, correctional administration and criminology.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the February 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), results were announced in twenty (20) working days. PRC named 22,245 out of 36,768 who passed the exams. John Michael Bundalian Amio from Holy Angel University topped the board with 92.20%. University of Iloilo topped the schools with 96.44% or 271 out of 281 passed (200 or more examinees category).
In the July 2024 Criminologist Licensure Examination, PRC announced results in fourteen (14) days after the exams. The agency named 11,121 out of 22,539 who successfully hurdled the exams. Alyssa Eliana Nazaire Bautista from Araullo University clinched the highest place with 92.10%. University of Mindanao - Davao City was the top performing school for the 200 or more category with 90.87% or 189 out of 208 passed.
In the February 2024 Criminologist Licensure Exam, PRC released results in 22 working days from the last day of examination. A total of 15,684 out of 32,495 passed the exams. Mark Angelo Hidalgo Marquez from Notre Dame of Tacurong College topped the board with 91.30%. Tarlac State University was the top performing school with 100% passing rate or all 89 of its takers passed.
In the August 2023 CLE, PRC released results in 14 working days from the last day of exam. A total of 5,743 out of 17,576 passed the tests. Jericson Balaba Jalagat from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College - Marbel aced the board with 90.15%. King's College of the Phils Inc. - Benguet was the top performing school with 88.89% or 56 out of 63 passed the exams.
