MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the complete results of August 2025 Guidance Counselor Licensure Exam (GCLE), together with the list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, on August 7-11, 2025, or within two (2) working days after the exam.
PRC conducted the Guidance Counselor board exam through full computer-based modality on Wednesday and Thursday, August 6 and 7, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Lucena, and Rosales.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024 for the schedule of board exam for year 2025, the target release of Guidance Counselor board exam results is on Monday, August 11, 2025, or within just two (2) working days after the exam.
Given the computer-based format of the exam, the PRC may release the results shortly after the last testing day. We recommend that examinees check for results as early as August 7.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

All examinees may verify their ratings online through PRC's verification of ratings page.

COVERAGE OF EXAM
The two-day exam tackled the following subjects: counseling theories, tools and techniques, career guidance and foundation of guidance (Day 1); and group process, psychological testing, organization, administration and supervision of guidance services and program development (Day 2).
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the August 2024 Guidance Counselor board exam, PRC announced results in two (2) working days. A total of 316 out of 539 passed the exams. Jara Alysa Moselina Sibal from Alliance Graduate School, Inc. - Quezon City led the passers with 90.35%.
In the August 2023 Guidance Counselor board exam, PRC also released results in 2 working days. A total of 295 out of 559 passed the exams. Justine Grace Ramos Loteria from Asian Theological Seminary-Quezon City topped the board with 90.90%.
In the August 2022 Guidance Counselor licensure exam, PRC announced results in three (3) working days. A total of 405 out of 661 passed the exams. Ryan Michael Flores Oducado from West Visayas State University - La Paz topped the board with 89.25%.
