SWLE RESULTS: September 2025 Social Worker Licensure Exam List of Passers

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Social Workers are expected to release results of the September 2025 Social Worker Licensure Exam (SWLE) on September 15, 2025 (Monday), three (3) working days after the exam.

The September 2025 SWLE Results include the official list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools.

PRC administered the Social Worker licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on September 8, 9, and 10, 2025.

Release of Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024 on 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for the Year 2025', the target release of September 2025 Social Worker board exam results is on Monday, September 15, 2025, within three (3) working days after the tests.

However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date, without prior notice.

Registration and Oathtaking

PRC announced that the initial registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration will be conducted online. Applicants may complete their initial registration by visiting https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and following the step-by-step instructions provided on the portal.

Registration Schedule: To be announced (TBA)

Requirements for Registration:

  • Duly accomplished and downloaded Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
  • Two (2) passport-size photos, colored with white background and name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  • One (1) short brown envelope

All successful examinees are required to personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals as part of the official process.

Details regarding the mass oathtaking ceremony—including the date and venue—will be released in a separate announcement by the PRC.

Coverage of Exam

The three-day exam covered the following subjects:

Day 1: human behavior and social environment and social welfare policies, programs and services;

Day 2: Social Work Practice I with Field Instruction I and Social Work Practice II with Field Instruction II;

Day 3: Social Work Practice III with Field Instruction III.

Previous Examinations

The September 2024 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE) produced 4,587 new social workers out of 7,113 examinees. Results were published just three (3) working days after the exams.

In September 2023, the PRC also released the SWLE results within three (3) working days, with 3,878 passers out of 6,833 candidates.

For the September 2022 SWLE, results came out in the same three (3) working days, yielding 2,955 successful examinees from 4,723 takers.

Meanwhile, in the February 2022 board exams, results were posted after four (4) working days. Out of 1,211 examinees, only 533 made the cut.

PRC bares 2025 schedule of SPLE for OFWs

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the schedule of Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) this 2025. MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday, November 28, the schedule of all board examinations for year 2025. The calendar includes schedule of opening of online processing, deadline for filing applications, practical examinations, professional upgrading examinations, Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) and target dates of release of exam results.
