MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission releases today, October 13, 2025 the list of passers of the August 2025 Civil Service Exam results or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT).
The CSC recently issued Examination Advisory No. 15, s. 2025 confirming release of CSE-PPT results on October 13, 2025 or ahead of the original October 18 schedule.
A total of 331,675 hopefuls tried to hurdle the CS exams in 95 testing centers nationwide.
Among the regions, the National Capital Region (NCR) has the biggest turnout of examinees, followed by Region IV.
Meanwhile, the list of topnotchers are expected to be released in the coming weeks similar with the previous CSE-PPT.
How to access the August 2025 CSE-PPT results?
The list of passers in the August 2025 CSE-PPT may be accessed through the widget found on the left side of the CSC website.
Alternatively, examinees may go directly to the CSC Examination Portal to view the results.
Note: CSC said that test results, including the exact values of the ratings, released by the CSC are FINAL AND IRREVERSIBLE. About Civil Service Eligibility
Applicants who pass the CSE Professional Level are granted Career Service Professional Eligibility. This eligibility is required for permanent appointments to first- and second-level government positions covering professional, technical, scientific, and managerial roles that typically require at least four years of college education.
Meanwhile, those who pass the Subprofessional Level are conferred Career Service Subprofessional Eligibility. This qualifies them for permanent appointment to first-level government positions, including clerical, trades, crafts, and custodial service roles that require less than four years of college education.
However, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) emphasizes that eligibility alone does not guarantee employment in government service. Applicants must still meet all the qualification standards for the position, including education, training, experience, and eligibility requirements.
Reminders for Civil Service Exam Passers
Starting October 25, 2025, examinees—whether they passed or failed—may view and download their individual test results through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS). The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reminds the public that results will not be mailed to individual examinees.
Successful examinees may request their Certification of Eligibility (CoE), either printed on CSC official letterhead or on security paper. However, it is strongly advised to confirm the CoE’s availability before visiting the CSC Regional Office (RO) or Field Office (FO).
For CoEs printed on official letterhead (issued free of charge), passers must present a valid ID—preferably the same one used during application—along with their application receipt and/or CSC official receipt, if available.
The CoE may be claimed at the CSC Regional Office that has jurisdiction over the area where the exam was taken. Alternatively, passers may claim it at a nearby CSC Field Office within the same region by submitting a letter request to the CSC RO asking that the CoE be forwarded to their preferred FO.
Passers who have relocated to another region must send a written request to the original CSC Regional Office, asking that their CoE be forwarded to the conduit CSC RO or FO where they intend to claim the document, and stating the reason for the transfer request.
Meanwhile, CoEs printed on security paper are available for a fee at any of the 16 CSC Regional Offices nationwide, regardless of where the passer took the CSE-PPT. The full list of requirements and procedures for obtaining the CoE and its authenticated copies is available on the official CSC website.
