MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday, November 17, the schedule of all board examinations for year 2026.
The calendar includes schedule of opening of online processing, deadline for filing applications, practical examinations, professional upgrading examinations, Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) and target dates of release of exam results.
The 'Schedule of Licensure Examinations for 2025', under PRC Resolution No. [for update], is pursuant to Section 7 (d) of R.A. 8981, authorizing the Commission to determine and fix the places and dates of examinations.
It covers examinations for dentist, architect, mechanical engineers (ME), physician, medical technologist (medtech), professional teacher (LET), electronics engineers (ECE), midwives, electrical engineer (REE), certified public accountants (CPA), civil engineer (CE), nurse (NLE), criminologist (CLE), among others.
Here's the schedule of examinations that usually draw massive takers:
1. Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET): March 15, 2026 and September 20, 2026
2. Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE): February 26 and 27, 2026 and August 29 and 30, 2026
3. Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE): May 24, 25, and 26, 2026 and October 24, 25, and 26, 2026
4. Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE): February 4, 5, and 6, 2026 and August 1, 2, and 3, 2026
5. Physician Licensure Exam (PLE): March 23, 24, 30, and 31, 2026 and October 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2026
6. Civil Engineering Licensure Exam (CELE): March 26 and 27, 2026 and September 26 and 27, 2026
The 2026 PRC Licensure Exam Calendar
The Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Overseas Filipino Workers in 2025 will be scheduled in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2017-1034, pursuant to R.A. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835. The specific dates and venues for the SPLE will be announced once finalized.
Applicants are reminded to file and submit all required supporting documents at the concerned Regional Offices or Offsite Service Centers within the prescribed period.
As stated under Commission Resolution No. 2092 (s. 2025), late applications will not be accepted unless covered by justifiable cases. All applications must be filed through the Licensure Examinations and Registration Information System (LERIS).
Requests for deadline extensions must be submitted to the Licensure Office at least fifteen (15) days before the scheduled deadline; otherwise, the deadline will be considered final. If the deadline falls on a weekend or a holiday, it will automatically move to the next working day.
