MANILA, Philippines – Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier, Chairperson of the 2025 Bar Examinations Committee, will announce on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 the complete results of the 2025 Bar Exam, including list of passers, topnotchers, and top law schools.
The list of new lawyers, drawn from the 11,425 law graduates who endured the grueling three-day examinations, will be announced at the conclusion of the Supreme Court’s special en banc session.
In a December bar notice, Justice Lazaro-Javier said the announcement of the Bar exam results will be made in the afternoon of January 7.
The announcement will also include the overall passing rate and the finalized passing grade. Based on previous Bar Examinations, the expected passing rate typically ranges from 20% to 40%.
Earlier, the Office of the 2025 Bar Chair announced that the Oath Taking and Roll Signing Ceremonies for successful Bar examinees are scheduled on Friday, February 6, 2026.
The 2025 Philippine Bar Examinations were conducted on September 7, 10, and 14, 2025, across 14 local testing centers located in the National Capital Region, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. These examinations marked the 123rd professional licensure tests for aspiring Philippine lawyers.

Similar with previous years, the ratings of the law schools are expected to be grouped per category (based on number of Bar candidates) and with a distinction of the ratings covering all Bar candidates and the ratings covering only first-takers.

2025 Bar Statistics
The 2025 Bar Examinations concluded successfully, with 11,425 examinees—or 99.89% of those who took the Day 1 examinations—completing all three days of testing.
Justice Lazaro-Javier reported that a record-high 11,437 candidates sat for the Day 1 examinations, with 11,429 returning to take the Day 2 tests.
According to Justice Lazaro-Javier, the examinees included 6,667 females and 4,758 males, as well as 41 pregnant examinees and 206 senior citizens. She also noted that 139 examinees reported medical conditions, while 241 were persons with disabilities.
Of the 13,193 applicants who initially applied to take the Bar Examinations, some later withdrew due to unforeseen circumstances, Justice Lazaro-Javier added.
