GCLE RESULTS AUGUST 2026 – The August 2026 Guidance Counselors Licensure Examination (GCLE) results, including the complete list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools, and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, three (3) working days after the exam.
PRC conducted the Guidance Counselor board exam through full computer-based modality on August 17 and 23, 2026, across nine testing cities: Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Lucena, Rosales, and Tuguegarao.

Release of GCLE Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the August 2026 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination results will be released on Monday, August 24, 2026.
However, due to the rescheduling of the second day of the examination, the GCLE results are expected to be released on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, or three (3) working days after the final day of the exam.
Schedule of Initial Registration
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form
- valid government-issued ID
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oath-taking
The PRC announces oathtaking schedules shortly after releasing exam results.
- Face-to-face oathtaking: Register online by 12:00 NN the day before, print the QR-coded Oath Form, and submit it during the ceremony.
- Alternative options: Attend online oathtaking (register at least 5 days before) or request a special oathtaking; announcements are posted once confirmed.
- Online oathtaking: Select “e-OATH” on PRC’s website and print the Oath of Professional form.
- After oathtaking, proceed with Initial Registration by booking an appointment online.
Verification of Rating
All examinees of the August 2026 Guidance Counselor Licensure Exam (GCLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.
Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.
The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
Coverage of Examinations
The two-day exam tackled the following subjects: counseling theories, tools and techniques, career guidance and foundation of guidance (Day 1); and group process, psychological testing, organization, administration and supervision of guidance services and program development (Day 2).
Previous Examinations
For the August 2025 Guidance Counselors Computer-Based Licensure Examination (GCLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results immediately after the final day of the exam. A total of 496 out of 744 examinees passed. Sheena Rose Berida Jamora of the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the exam with an 89.40% rating, followed by Darius Kenny Abarca Sasan of Cebu Normal University with 88.85%.
In August 2024, the PRC released the Guidance Counselors Licensure Examination results two (2) working days after the exam. A total of 316 out of 539 examinees passed. Jara Alysa Moselina Sibal of Alliance Graduate School, Inc. - Quezon City ranked first with a 90.35% rating, while Jene Lianica Corpus Arcega of Holy Angel University (HAU) placed second with 90.00%.
The August 2023 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination followed the same two (2)-working-day turnaround. Of the 559 examinees, 295 passed. Justine Grace Ramos Loteria of Asian Theological Seminary-Quezon City topped the exam with a 90.90% rating, followed by Alyzza Louize Valenzuela Malibiran of Philippine Normal University - Manila with 88.40%.
