NLE RESULTS 2026 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases results of the August 2026 Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) or Nursing Board Exam, on Friday, September 18, 2026, five (5) working days after the last day of exam.
PRC conducted the second Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) of 2026 on August 29–30 in various testing centers nationwide, including Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cauayan, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).
Note: Due to adverse weather conditions and Heavy Rainfall Warnings, the NLE in Region III, covering the San Fernando, Pampanga and Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija testing centers, was rescheduled to September 11–12, 2026. The second day of the examination in Metro Manila was also moved from August 30 to September 12.

Release of NLE Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the August 2026 Nurses Licensure Exam (NLE) results will be released on Friday, September 18, 2026.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
Registration and Oathtaking
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Pursuant to Section 16, of Republic Act No. 9173, “all successful candidates in the examination shall be required to take an oath of professional before the Board or any government official authorized to administer oaths prior to entering upon the nursing practice.”
Verification of Ratings
All examinees of the August 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE) may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
Coverage of Examination
The two-day exam covered competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows: patient care, empowering, enabling and enhancing competencies.
The five (5) parts of the NLE are the following:

- Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
- Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
