MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced the topnotchers (top 10 passers) in the August 2026 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT). View on this page for professional level list of highest placers.
The CSC released the August 2026 CSE-PPT list of passers on October 6, 2026, 58 calendar days after the examination.
A total of 34,719 out of 240,934 examinees (14.41%) passed the August 2026 Civil Service Exam. Of the total passers, 31,855 out of 220,335 examinees (14.46%) passed the Professional Level, while 2,864 out of 20,599 examinees (13.90%) passed the Subprofessional Level.

The August 2026 CSE-PPT was conducted on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at testing centers nationwide. The examinations were administered through the CSC regional offices in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Quezon and MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Meanwhile, the civil service exam in Region IV-A (Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal), the Cordillera Administrative Region (Baguio, La Trinidad, and Abra), and the National Capital Region (NCR) was suspended due to severe weather conditions. According to the CSC, the suspension affected 67,255 registered applicants.

Previous Examinations
In the March 2026 CSE-PPT Professional Level, Jannah Arumpac Masbud of Region XII topped the examination with an outstanding rating of 98.60%. Jholene Ylysa Ladores Salimbot of NCR placed second with 97.77%.
In the March 2025 CSE-PPT Professional Level, Charina Mae P. Tigbayan of NCR secured the highest rating at 97.91%, followed by Isaiah Gil E. Ortiz, also of NCR, who earned 97.24%.
For the August 2024 examination, Mark Justine M. Domingo of Region IV ranked first with a rating of 97.49%. Joyce D. Dublin of Region VII followed in second place with 96.47%.
Earlier, in the March 2024 exam, Viron Gil A. Estrada of NCR led the field with a rating of 97.30%. Micah Angelo R. Bacani and Duke Donald R. Cotoco, both from NCR, tied for second place with 97.26% each.
How to get CSE-PPT results
The complete list of successful examinees of the August 2026 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test may be accessed through the official website of the CSC.
The schedule for the release of the Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Office will be announced. Passers are advised to verify first the availability, requirements, and procedures for claiming their Certification of Eligibility before proceeding to the CSC office.
Examinees, whether passed or failed, can generate their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website within 14 days after the release of the list of passers.
